KATHRYN MCBRIDE, a Colson Center Fellow, is the co-owner of Spitting Image, LLC, which specializes in fine art and custom hydrographic film printing and the founder/principal of Letcetera, Ltd., a graphic design and publishing firm in suburban Chicago. While a visual artist by profession, she also enjoys a variety of creative pursuits. In all that she does, she endeavors to make things beautiful.

Over the course of my working life, my various roles in the Graphic Arts industry have been for me more of a calling than simply an occupation. Throughout my career, I have worked passionately to develop and hone my creative gifts for the benefit of the clients I have served.

MICHAEL INTRATOR is the Sales Manager of Spitting Image, LLC, located in Oak Park, IL and President of Black Box Collotype in Chicago. Black box Collotype has long been hailed as the “top fine art printer in Chicago.” Michael is known for his unorthodox solutions to difficult problems and has reproduced some of the most beautiful images in the world. He works hand-in-hand with his famous (and sometimes infamous) clientele to provide innovative approaches to fine art printing. Michael now brings this expertise to Spitting Image.

I am a person who loves to roll up my sleeves and work with my hands. It brings me great pleasure to create beautiful things that bring enjoyment to the people that I work with. I am foremost a Printer and have made it my life’s work to perfect the Collotype (continuous tone) printing process. My aim is to produce prints that will take your breath away. This has been a great journey and I am still loving it!
